10th May 2017 – Another exciting and creative event for kids and adults were organized by Junior Lookbook at Pavilion KL today. The event, named 'City of Multicolour', was held at its premise at Level 5 of the shopping mall. Many celebrities and their family members showed up in Paul Smith dresses and pink attires.

The brand creator, Paul Smith was born in Nottingham in 1946. At age 15, Paul left school to work at a clothing warehouse. His real ambition was to become a professional racing cyclist but his dream crushed when he met with a tragic accident at age 17. While in hospital, he was introduced to the world of fashion and arts by his new acquaintance. In 1976 Paul started his first menswear collection in Paris, under the Paul Smith label. Today, PAUL SMITH is a global name in the fashion industry. In 2011, Paul was awarded the Outstanding Achievement in Fashion Design award at the British Fashion Awards for his exceptional contribution to the British fashion industry. Paul Smith launched his first children's collection in 2010. Today, the popular British brand continues to create fun, unique collections for fashion-forward children.

The Chairman of Junior Lookbook Malaysia, Mr. Brian John Yim kicked off the event with his welcoming speech whilst the Group Managing Director, Mr. Matthew Benjamin Yoon, introduced the event's theme and the reason behind the 'pink wall' backdrop. Apparently, the Paul Smith Pink Building in the Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles has become an Instagram phenomenon! "I wanted to take a selfie," said Faye, a young girl visiting from China when asked what brought her to the Paul Smith store. "I heard about it from my friends; they are saying it's a landmark." The pink wall has been seen all over the social feeds, inspiring others to make a trip to LA just to take a picture in front of the building!

All the guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves to a two-hours packed of entertainment, lucky draws, best dressed competition, etc. Apart from bringing the 'pink wall' to Pavilion KL, JUNIOR LOOKBOOK also hosted a fun-filled activity for the kids as well as the adults during the event. Each guest was given boxes and colour papers to design and build their own multicolour cities ! Attractive prizes were given out to the winners of The Most Creative Building, The Tallest Building, and The Most Impressive Building of the day!

The event ended with a grand finale of a spontaneous dance choreography participated by all the invited guests and medias in front of the 5 star boutique!
